Particularly in areas where exhaust fumes are undesirable, the emergency services saw, equipped with the extremely robust STIHL Rapid Duro R carbide saw chain and its armouring of impact-resistant carbide plates, offers great added value.

Thanks to the powerful STIHL AP 500 S battery developed for this chainsaw, the huge electric output of 3.0 kW is converted into a chain speed of up to 30 m/s. A further advantage of the STIHL MSA 300 R is its weatherproof and durable construction. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations, protecting your muscles and joints as you work.

POWER BOOST

• MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to internal intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.

OIL SENSOR

• FOR CONTROL AND MONITORING OF THE OIL SUPPLY. The LED display on the oil sensor informs you about the delivery of chain lubricant. If the LED is red, there is not enough chain oil reaching the chain. When the oil supply is sufficient, the LED is off.

CONTROLLED-DELIVERY OIL PUMP

• OIL CONSUMPTION BASED ON NEED. The controlled-delivery oil pump reduces your chainsaw’s oil consumption by up to 50%. To use it, simply select the E position. For very long cutting attachments or very dry wood, an additional oil volume can be set by the user.

TOOL-FREE FUEL CAP FOR OIL TANKS

• QUICK AND EASY TO USE. Thanks to the bayonet closure, you can open and close the tool-free fuel cap in just a few simple steps.

OPERATING MODES
