AGCO Power Engine

• All MF 5M tractors are powered by the AGCO Power four-cylinder, 4.4 litre, Stage V engine, which delivers maximum power from 95hp to 145hp and up to 560Nm torque at only 1500rpm.

All-in-One SCR Technology

• These compact engines use the advanced and highly efficient All-In-One SCR Technology.

Performance

• Further improving performance and emissions control is the electronic wastegate on the turbocharger, while the automatic low idle engine speed also cuts fuel consumption.

After-Treatment Components

• All the after-treatment components are located on the right side, below the cab, so there is no impact on visibility or cab access. This position maintains the good ground clearance and service access and allows fuel tank capacity to be increased to 198L.

Dyna-4

• The impressive performance and efficient design of the Dyna-4 transmission provides unbeatable productivity, control and convenience, with completely clutch-less shifting of 16 forward and 16 reverse speeds.

Right-Hand T-Handle

• Renowned for its outstanding, robust reliability with smooth and effortless operation, Dyna-4 is easy to operate using the left-hand Power Control Lever or the T-lever on the right-hand console.

Autodrive option

• The optional AutoDrive feature offers automatic shifting in Power and Eco Modes, enhancing efficiency and convenience during loader and transport operations.

Power control

• The Power Control lever provides convenient three-in-one, straightforward operation. Operators can shuttle between forward/reverse, shift Dynashift speeds and ranges and select neutral, leaving the right hand free.

Speedmatching as standard

• Speedmatching automatically selects the correct Dyna-4 ratio to match the forward speed when changing gears.

Brake to Neutral

• Brake-to-neutral switch (Option) simultaneously operates the clutch as soon as the brake pedal is pressed; this eases the load on the operator, while increasing efficiency and convenience and is particularly useful during loader operations.

Supercreep

• Precise control for specialist low-speed tasks is assured with additional supercreep gears, enabling forward speeds as low as 100m/hr to be achieved.

Comfort control

• Smooth or quick shuttling – you choose by simply adjusting the Comfort Control that suits the job – slow and smooth or fast and efficient.

Versatility 

• The MF 5M Series is engineered for a wide variety of applications. It features generous lift capacity, precise draft function control to optimise traction, as well as a host of straightforward features to enhance loader operations.

Rear linkage

• Optimised specifically for the new MF 5M, the rear linkage boasts generous lift capacity from 4.3T to 5.2T, with Electronic Linkage Control ensuring precise draft functions and optimal traction.

Rear linkage adjustment

• Fully adjustable lift rods and heavy-duty stabilisers provide plenty of adjustment for the perfect attachment and setting for a wide range of mounted and semi-mounted implements.

Front linkage

• For added productivity, a 2.5T front linkage is available. This option, equipped with suspension for improved comfort, has three operating modes: fixed, float, or transport. 

Electronic Linkage Control

• Useful standard features include Active Transport Control, which automatically absorbs shocks on the road, as well as external lift/lower controls, located on the right and left-hand fenders.

Hydraulics

• This range features an open-centre hydraulic system powered by two gear pumps, delivering 33 litres/min for internal services and 58 litres/min for auxiliary functions. 

100 litres combined flow option

• At the press of a button, the MF 5M Series hydraulics can deliver 100 litres/min oil flow at 2220 rpm, making the higher flowrate availabe to provide extra speed and power for loader operations.

Auxiliary Spool Valves

• The oil flow is also available through the two standard auxiliary spool valves to power implement hydraulic functions, even while operating the steering. An optional factory-fitted third spool valve is available to power more complex implements.

Direct drive PTO

• The MF 5M series is equipped with a three speed 540/540 Eco/1000rpm PTO as standard. A 21-spline shaft is an option with the 1000rpm PTO.

PTO Clutch

• Control is through a modern independent PTO clutch, electro-hydraulically engaged, regulating the engagement to protect the implement driveline. Maximum reliability is combined with ease of use, with control by a three-position rocker switch

Rear axle

• The heavy-duty, structural axle casting design contains inboard reduction units, which employ epicyclic gears for the final speed reduction.

Unladen weight

• An unladen weight of 4T allows road transport with peace of mind, carrying up to 4,5T or towing up to 32T at a speed of 40 km/h, with simple operation including automatic gear shifting thanks to our famous Dyna-4 transmission

Tight turning radius

• Specially designed cutaways in the chassis and bonnet help deliver a turning radius of 4.65m (until model MF 5M.115), making it easier to operate in confined areas and buildings.

Heritage

Numbering

• The numbering follows the same format as the other MF tractor series. 5 represents the chassis size; M indicates the specification level (Medium) and the three final figures emphasise the power that, across the new 6-model series, goes from 95 to 145 HP.

Electronic joystick

• Electronic multifunction joystick allows operators to control loader functions as well as the transmission; travel direction; speedshift; engine memo; 3rd and 4th electric functions​.

Dashboard

• The dashboard displays engine and PTO speeds, service intervals, fuel consumption, distance travelled, area worked, oil temperature, tractor hours, engine speed memory and service information. You can also adjust the Comfort Control to fit your activity.

Air conditioning option

• ​Uprated, optional air conditioning system with greatly increased air flow and distribution around the operator.

Rugged reliability and fuel economy

• The AGCO Power, 4-cylinders, 4.4 litre engine is easy to access for quick maintenance, and complies with Stage V emission standards using the compact All-in-One (DOC+SCR+SC) after-treatment system. All models deliver the power you require (high torque of 560Nm at only 1500rpm for the model MF 5M.145) without needing high revs, reducing noise levels, fuel and AdBlue consumption.  In addition, the fuel tank (produced in Beauvais), has increased capacity up to 198L (+24% compared to the previous series), for longer operation between refuelling, increasing productivity.

Optimum control

• Proven for more than 20 years, the Dyna-4 transmission provides class-leading, clutch-free control of 16 forward and 16 reverse speeds with a 40km/h Eco top speed. Optional AutoDrive offers automatic shifting in Power and Eco modes, along with optional Brake-to-Neutral, which automatically disengages drive when the brake pedal is pressed. Dyna-4 offers ultimate ease of operation using the console-mounted T-lever and Massey Ferguson’s exclusive left hand, Power Control lever. This enables operators to shuttle between forward/reverse or neutral – leaving the right hand free to operate a loader or other implements.

THE ALL-ROUNDER

• Designed for unmatched versatility, its compact wheelbase, tight turning angle, and low height allow access to all types of buildings. Lifting capacity, from 4.3T to 5.2T, with Electronic Linkage Control, makes it ideal for yard work, grassland and arable operations.  An open-centre hydraulic system, powered by two gear pumps, delivers 33 litres/min for internal services and 58 litres/min for auxiliary functions. An optional hydraulic system upgrade provides 100 l/min combined flow at 2220 rpm for enhanced loader operation. For added productivity, an optional 2.5T front linkage is available, equipped with suspension for improved comfort. Weighing 4T, the MF 5M offers easy road transport, carrying 4.5T or towing up to 32T at 40 km/h. Fully compatible with MF FLX & MF FL Series loaders, it offers excellent manoeuvrability with a choice of mechanical or electronic joystick and the optional Visio roof.
