The 5670 pivot fold planters, available in 30′ and 40′ widths and four configurations, are the next generation of planters built on Kinze’s proven push split row design. Whether used as a dedicated narrow-row planter or a multi-crop workhorse, it delivers increased productivity by utilizing the latest and best in technology  and performance-boosting features.

5670 Key Benefits

• Fully delivered electric planting with the 5000 Series row unit, Blue Drive electric drive, and True Speed high speed or the True Rate vacuum electric meter.

Automatic Tank Leveling

The 5670 is equipped with automatic tank leveling to maintain equal fertilizer levels in each tank while planting on slopes and prevent overflowing the downhill tanks. Sensors in each tank work with the Blue Vantage display to direct the flow of fertilizer and maintain equal tank levels.

Dedicated Frame Designs

The 5670 pivot fold planters (30′ versus 40′ widths) have dedicated frame designs specific to their size and the features and options they carry. In addition, the two frame widths have different-sized center sections to optimize the wing length and maintain a consistent seed depth. They both have 24″ of toolbar clearance, up to 30° of wing flex, best-in-class residue flow, and narrow transport width. They are also equipped with adjustable active hydraulic weight transfer and outfitted with bulk fill hoppers, push split row units, AND onboard fertilizer tanks without giving up features. Both models have standard VF radial tires for improved flotation in soft conditions.

Split Row Planter

For almost forty years Kinze's exclusive push row units and parallel bar design have improved residue flow through the frame resulting in more uniform seed spacing and depth. Split rows provide optimum narrow rows for crops like soybeans, sunflowers, and wheat.
