Max loads, max slopes, max speeds
- Reduce the number of times you need to fill up your cart each day. Fill it full every time and don’t worry about what operator is in the seat when you reach the hills. With 38,102 kg (84,000 lb), 619 kW (830 rated engine hp), and Auto Mode just select you set speed and let the tractor do the rest.
- *Comparing a 9RX 640 with a N560F and a C850 cart filled half-way vs. a 9RX 830 with a N560F and a C850T cart filled all the way up, both operating at max engine hp. The hills ranged from 8 degrees to 12 degrees in slope.
Do more with less
- The 9RX 710, 770 and 830 give you the power needed to increase implement width, maintain consistent depth and eliminate passes which helps reduce the amount of soil compacted each season. Let John Deere help you get all your stalks ripped before the ground freezes or stay ahead of the planter in the spring.
*Calculation assumes going from a 11 shank 2730 to a 13 shank 2730 over 4500 acres with one machine.
Powerful possibilities
- The 9RX 710, 770 and 830 give you the power needed to increase implement width and speed, eliminating passes which helps reduce the amount of soil compacted each season. Let John Deere help you quickly create a consistent finish across your field that has all the neighbors asking what piece of equipment you used to get it done.
- *Claim based on internal field test data comparing a 12.2 m (40 ft) 2680H at 19.2 km/h (11.9 mph) on a 9RX 640 maxed out on power to a 13.7 m (45 ft) 2680H at 21.6 km/h (13.4 mph) on a 9RX 830 maxed out on power for 8 hours a day at 10.2 cm (4 in.) deep in corn stalks.
New ride, new view
- The 9RX 710, 770, and 830 Tractors introduce a new in-cab experience. The CommandView 4 Plus cab offers a quiet experience as well as a smooth ride over varying field conditions, allowing for increased confidence and operator comfort in the seat.
- The CommandView 4 Plus cab removed the right-hand fender, utilized on our wheeled machines, for a 15 percent increase* in floor space, allowing for more leg room as the seat swivels, space for tools, or even your lunch. With the new cab design, there is also a 20 percent increase* on your right-hand side visibility, giving you more glass to see while driving on the road or working in the field, all increasing your confidence in the cab.
All power, one fluid
- The John Deere 9RX 710, 770, and 830 tractors are powered by the John Deere JD18 (18L) engine. The JD18 engine was designed to meet Final Tier 4 and Stage V emission standards by utilizing Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) technology, allowing these machines to run solely on diesel fuel (no DEF). This allows for increased uptime with one step fueling.
- Additionally, increase uptime with the Fast Fill System option available on 9RX 710, 770 and 830 models, similar to that of the Fast Fill System available on the X9 combine. This option is available from the factory and allows the 1949-L (515-gal.) fuel tank to be filled in just under 4 minutes*.
- *Fast Fill System runs at 568 L/min (150 gpm). For additional information on Fast Fill system, please see Engine Option story in the Engine tile
Hydraulic flow to help you grow
- This is flow that will wash the competition away. Don’t compromise on fan speed or tractor speed anymore. This tractor has it all. Not only will it deliver the flow you need today but will also prepare you to have enough flow for future implement needs. The optional Intelligent Power Management (IPM) senses when the pumps are putting out high flow and unlocks up to another 30 kW (40 hp) on the tractor to keep your system at its peak performance.
