Snow Blowers
Five new models are designed to capably tackle winter's worst ranging from normal duty to high and compacted accumulations. Floating hitch enables unparalleled ground contact across uneven surfaces. Optional back drag optimizes snow removal close to walls, garage doors, and other objects. These snow blowers are optimized to work with John Deere skid steers, compact track loaders, and compact wheel loaders. They're also compatible with many competitive models.
Compact Equipment Attachments
Snow Blowers Are Designed For:
- throwing snow up to 45 feet away
- snow removal from parking lots, driveways, roadways, or sidewalks
Features May Include:
Newly Optimized Lineup of John Deere Snow blowers
John Deere has recently optimized its lineup of Snow Blower CCE attachments from eight to five models. All these new models come equipped with upgrades that enable increased productivity when throwing snow
- SB72E and SP84E
- These standard flow snowblower are great solutions for customers wanting quality snow blowers but at a more affordable price point. Customers not needing the extra capabilities of high flow or with machines that are not equipped with high flow should opt for these models
- SB72M and SB84M
- These models of snow blowers are single auger attachments and are compatible with high flow hydraulic systems enabling them to work more efficiently in deeper and more compact snow
- These models are only compatible on machines that are equipped with a high flow hydraulics system that have a minimum of 102 l/min (27 gpm) of flow and can operate on machines with up to 24,100 kPa (3,500 psi) operating pressure
- SB84S
- This snowblower is a dual auger motor attachment designed for maximum productivity in high flow and high-pressure applications meaning it can tackle the deepest and most compact sites where snow and ice are present but need removed
- This model is only compatible with machines that are equipped with a high flow hydraulics system that has a minimum of 132 l/min (35 gpm) of flow and can operate on machines with up to 29,000 kPa (4,200 psi) operating pressure
Optional Back Drag feature enables snow removal close to walls or garage doors
The optional back drag feature on Deere snowblowers allows operators to more efficiently clean off driveways or parking lots of nearly all snow while staying in the cab and reducing manual labor
- Indicator arms located on both sides of the back drag add on kit are easily viewable from the seat of the cab to show operators how close they are to garage doors, walls, or other objects
- When nearing a garage door, wall or other object with the assistance of the indicator arms, an operator can then actuate the back drag from inside the cab to capture the snow that has settled within 6 inches of the garage door, wall or other object
- As the operator then backs out, the snow can be pulled away from the door, wall or other object and blown through the snow blower which eliminates the need to manually shovel these areas during final cleanup
Floating Hitch enables Snowblower to maintain unparalleled ground contact
The floating hitch feature on Deere snowblowers can decrease the amount of time spent on a site by enabling operators to blow as much snow as possible with every pass, especially when operating on uneven or rough surfaces.
- The hitch has 3 degrees of flexibility to allow for near perfect float capabilities especially across uneven surfaces. This design enables the attachment to move vertically, front and back, and tilt side to side.
- This ensures the scraping blade contacts as much of the ground as possible for a cleaner pass
- The floating hitch is mounted via two pins and there is no greasing required
- The hitch can be locked into place if there is not a need to enable the attachment to float
Easily adjustable and high performing Skid Ski’s
Optimized skid skis are another key upgrade on the John Deere lineup of Snow blowers.
- Skid skis create greater down force across the snow blower attachment to ensure adequate ground contact is maintained to capture as much snow as possible to feed into the blower.
- Ski’s are easily adjustable for optimal height placement. No tools are required to move the ski’s, simply remove a pin and reinsert when the ski is in the desired position.
- Replaceable wear pads and soft skis are also available that assist in better performance year after year no matter the surface
Dual Articulated Chute allows for greater control of snow throwing direction
Deere snowblowers come with many redesigns including a new dual articulated chute for increased controllability when throwing snow.
- Adjustable and hydraulically actuated chute and deflector allows operators to choose where they are throwing snow whether it’s right next to the machine or as far away as possible
- Chute rotates 180 degrees using a simple, direct drive hydraulic motor, rather than a chain and sprocket design or cables
John Deere Snow Blowers are built for the harsh elements of winter
John Deere snow blowers feature many standard designs that enable them to realize peak performance when throwing snow
- Two-stage hydraulic snow blowers are ideal for clearing or throwing snow up to 11 m (45 ft) from roadways, parking lots, driveways, or sidewalks.
- Direct drive motor at the auger and impeller provides robust and reliable performance with fewer parts
- Standard serrated auger cuts through the toughest of snow conditions
- High-volume intake shroud that is 685 mm [27 in.] tall (E-series) or 865 mm [34 in.] tall (M-series / S-series) maximizes snow clearing productivity.
- Case drain connection is not required on standard flow or high flow models.
- Like all John Deere attachments, these snow blowers are optimized to work with Deere skid steer loaders (SSLs), compact track loaders (CTLs), and compact wheel loaders (CWLs). They're also compatible with many competitive models. See your local Deere dealer for details.
