Description
2026 Great Plains VT1110-35 Turbo-Max
The Next Big Thing in Vertical Tillage
The industry-leading Turbo-Max has been reimagined for even greater versatility and performance. Introducing the VT1100 Turbo-Max, with new features and options, including a double basket for the smoothest finish, chopper reels to handle tough residue conditions, and a choice of blades to better match your application. Adjustable gangs deliver cross-season flexibility for optimum residue management and seedbed preparation, making the VT1100 the true vertical tillage solution for producers who take soil management seriously.
Features May Include:
Implement Command® (Optional)
- Take control of your adjustment and monitoring needs right at your fingertips with the Implement Command option. This system allows you to set, adjust, and monitor your implement on-the-go and in real time – on your ISOBUS-compatible monitor in your tractor cab.
A True Vertical Tillage Machine
- With Turbo blades spaced 7½" apart, the Turbo-Max provides true vertical cutting without the shearing caused by concave blades. Offset front and rear gangs achieve an effective residue cutting width of 3¾" when running at 0°.
Choice of Turbo Blades
- Standard 20" Turbo blades are the best choice for soil with a medium to heavy texture or rockier areas where blade breakage is a concern. New optional 22" Turbo blades are applicable to lighter-textured soils that require a working depth greater than three or four inches.
Hydraulically-Adjustable Gang Angle
- One of the most unique features of the original Turbo-Max was its ability to angle the gangs from 0° to 6°. This popular feature is also key to the new VT1110 Turbo-Max. All models are equipped with hydraulic cylinders to make gang angle changes on-the-go. Heavy, ductile cast spools keep weight in the gangs, ensuring reliability of the C-shanks and bearings.
New Frame Design
- The VT1100 Turbo-Max frame has been redesigned to support new finishing attachment options. The updated frame also accommodates heavier transport axles and tires.
Optional Single or Double Baskets
- Customize your VT1100 with a choice of finishing attachments. Finishing reels are designed to reduce clods as they smooth the soil’s surface. New double finishing reels are engineered for soil that is heavier with a higher moisture content. Both reels flex and maintain even down pressure as they roll through the field. The single basket attachment is well suited for drier, lighter soil conditions. Both options are available with a choice of flat or round bars. Flat bars are more aggressive for breaking up clods, particularly in clay soils; round bars are the preferred option for lighter soils or rocky conditions.
Rolling Spike Harrows or Chopper Reels
- Rolling spike harrows finish the work of the coulters to create a level seedbed. They are the attachment of choice for most applications. Chopper reels are the best solution for tough residue situations and help prevent viney residue from wrapping and plugging. They are designed to pin and bury residue, rather than rolling it back to the surface. Both are positioned between the blades and the finishing attachment.
Torsion Mount
- Achieve a smooth, uniform finish with standard torsion mounts.
TURBO-SEEDER® PLUS
- Till the soil, size residue, and seed cover crops in one pass.
Virtually Maintenance Free Bearings
- 7-lip seals on each side of the gang bearings lock in grease and prevent contamination. Additionally, the walking beam pivots utilize coated bushings, eliminating the need for tapered bearings and grease in pivot points. Drop axles pivot on anti-rotational pins, requiring no maintenance.
