Heavy-Duty Flex Harrow

When it comes to seedbed preparation, product incorporation, residue management, and weed control, the new Great Plains CT8300 Heavy-Duty Flex Harrow is one of the most versatile tools on the market! Its new robust ladder frame, combined with our heavy-duty, narrow tongue design, eliminate the need for wing cables. Other enhancements include longer teeth on the drag section; bar connectors that maintain the set tine angles for straighter, consistent tracking; and walking tandem axles on select sizes. Now available in 15 widths from 18' to 60', you’ll find a Flex Harrow that is perfect for any operation!

Features May Include:

New Robust Heavy-Duty Frame

• The enhanced frame of the CT8300 provides durability across a wide range of applications – even in the toughest field conditions. The stronger toolbar and narrow tongue eliminate the need for wing cables and permit tighter turns in narrower spaces.

New Walking Tandem Axles

• Models 33' and larger feature walking tandems. Walking tandems maintain consistent mainframe height – even on rough terrain – and are designed beefier than competitive models. All tires are standard sized, 12-ply implement tires; radial tires are an option on machines that are 45' and larger.

Bar-Tine Choices

• Flex Harrows are available to order with 8 rows or 16 rows of bar tines. Each section of four bars can be added or removed for flexibility. Spaced 9" apart, the tines on the new CT8300 models are 1½" (25%) longer than competitive models, which increases the wear life and improves residue flow.

Single Hydraulic Circuit

• The new CT8300 Flex Harrow can be lifted and folded with one SCV control. The simplified fold/unfold process means less downtime when transporting between fields, and allows the unit to be pulled behind other tillage implements.

New Bar Connectors

• A new drag bar connector system keeps all spikes at a consistent, uniform angle across the tool. Tines can be run at 50° or 38° for greater or less aggressive finishing. This new design also provides straighter tracking of the drag sections.

New Hinge Design

• The hinges on the CT8300 are designed to be maintenance-free, supremely durable, and capable of carrying greater wing loads. For added strength, the overall width of the hinge increases as the wing sizes increase.

Blanket Harrow

• Add a Blanket Harrow to 24', 30', and 36' models to distribute and incorporate livestock waste; prepare a firm, level seedbed with enhanced pack and cover; and break up after-harvest crust, ridges, and stalks. Order as a 6' long single blanket section, or combine the blanket with eight rows of spikes.

Bolt-In Spindles

• 6-bolt single tires on 18'-30'; 6-bolt walking tandems on 33'-39'; 8-bolt walking tandems on 42'-60' models.

FORGE HARDENED

• 7.5 inch spike teeth on 9" spacing for longer lasting wear.

Adjustable Hitch Height

• Adjust the height of the hitch to match the tractor or leading implement's rear hitch height.

Optional Hose Extensions

• 26ˈ and 30ˈ extensions reach remote hydraulic outlets when the unit is pulled behind other tools.
