The Original True Vertical Tillage Solution

True vertical tillage has become the go-to method for yield-boosting seedbed preparation. Turbo-Max is the ideal vertical tillage solution for min-tillers who want to size and anchor residue without aggressively working the ground in the fall. It vertically cuts residue and fractures the soil to create a smooth seedbed for uniform seed emergence. Because Turbo-Max is a true vertical tillage implement, it does not create compaction layers, giving roots the freedom to reach nutrients and moisture.

Turbo-Max features hydraulic rear reels as an option on 12' and 15' models. Hydraulic rear reels allow the operator to control the reel down pressure from the cab to adjust for different field conditions. This allows the rear attachment to be lifted in less-than-ideal field conditions, saving time spent cleaning mud out of the reel.

With working widths ranging from 8.5' to 15', lower-acreage operations have access to the benefits of vertical tillage. Each Turbo-Max is designed with two rows of coulter gangs, with blades spaced 7½" apart. The rear gangs offset the front gangs, splitting the blade spacing to 3¾" for superior residue sizing in one pass. This allows the Turbo-Max to provide true vertical cutting without the shearing caused by concave blades.

Furthermore, the gangs can be angled from 0 to 6 degrees, making the Turbo-Max a multi-seasonal soil management tool. In the fall, angle the gangs from 3-6 degrees to cover more residue, or keep the gangs straight to prepare the perfect seedbed in the spring. Hydraulically-adjustable gangs are a standard feature on 12' and 15' models, and offered as an option on the smaller sizes.

Hydraulically-Adjustable Gang Angle from 0-6° On-the-Go

• Gangs angle on the Turbo-Max from 0° to 6°. In the fall, angle the gangs from 3° to 6° to size and cover residue, then set the gangs at 0° in the spring to prepare the ultimate seedbed. Both 12' and 15' models are equipped with hydraulic cylinders to make gang angle changes on-the-go. The smaller models are manually adjustable, with the hydraulic adjustment as an optional feature. Heavy, ductile cast spools keep the weight in the gangs, ensuring reliability of the C-shanks and bearings.

True Vertical Tillage Machine

• With 20" Turbo blades spaced 7½" apart, Turbo-Max provides true vertical cutting without the shearing caused by concave blades. Offset front and rear gangs achieve an effective residue cutting width of 3¾" when running at 0°.

Rolling Spike Harrow

• Rolling spike harrow tines split Turbo coulters to ensure thorough mixing of soil and residue, resulting in a smooth, uniform seedbed for optimum planter performance.

Hydraulic Rear Reels

• Change the down pressure on the rear attachment on-the-go from the tractor cab. This allows the reel to be adjusted for different field conditions or lifted completely, if needed. This feature is available as an option on 12' and 15' models.

Torsion Mount

• Achieve a smooth, uniform finish with standard torsion mounts.

Virtually Maintenance Free Bearings

• 7-lip seals on each side of the gang bearings lock in grease and prevent contamination. Additionally, the walking beam pivots utilize coated bushings, eliminating the need for tapered bearings and grease in pivot points. Drop axles pivot on anti-rotational pins, requiring no maintenance.

Optional Weight Package

• Consists of two 750-lb. weights to aid in penetration. Weight packages vary with implement size.
