BD7410 Narrow Transport

The BD7410 Drill line is engineered for producers who need a drill that is simple to operate and transports easily, yet maintains the performance and high-quality standards set by Great Plains. Now available in 15' and 20' working widths, these BD7410 Drills quickly fold to under 10' for transport. With trusted features and options like 00 Series openers, the Great Plains Metering System, a split-box configuration, and more, the BD7410 achieves the productivity of a larger drill while maintaining maneuverability through gates and down narrow roadways.

Features May Include:

Great Plains Metering System

• This innovative system meters by shaft speed, adjusting for different application rates by changing the meter wheel rpm. Large seed, small seeds, and fertilizer can all be metered through the same seed cup. Each seed meter comes with meter wheels for small and regular seeds and are staggered for optimum distribution. A third seed wheel for large seed/fertilizer is optional.

00 Series Opener

• 00 Series openers feature a proven welded box design. 13.5", 4mm blades mounted on triple-lip sealed bearings are offset 1/4" for easier penetration in tough conditions. A rear depth-controlling gauge wheel uses a T-handle adjuster with 18 depth settings.

Adjustable Down Pressure

• Hydraulic cylinders lift the openers out of the way for transport and end-row turns. The same cylinders also apply down pressure to the 6-position adjustment stop. This setting allows the operator to quickly change the amount of down pressure on the openers.

Narrow Transport Design

• Featuring hydraulic tongue latches, these drills are folded and unfolded by operating a single hydraulic lever from the tractor cab. All fold to under 10' for field-to-field, down-the-road, and through-the-gate convenience.

Press Wheel Options

• Choose from 3"x13" double rib, 3"x13" center rib, 2"x13" smooth, or 1"x12" double V press wheels (availability depends on row spacing).

SMALL SEEDS BOX OPTION

• Mounted to the back of the main seed box, this optional box is used to handle small seeds like clover and alfalfa. Boxes are offered in two capacities: 7.5 bu. on 15' models, or 10 bu. on 20' models.

Split-Box Configuration (Opt)

• This convenient design adds versatility to the main seed box. A lower door can be opened so the entire capacity can be used for seed; or use the partition in a 60%/40% ratio to fill with two types of seed or a seed/fertilizer combination.
