BD7410 Narrow Transport 13' Box Drill

With innovative features and a new narrow-transport design, the BD7410 fills the void for producers who need a drill that is simple to operate, transports easily, yet offers the high-quality standards set by Great Plains.

The BD7410’s 13′ working width folds to under 10′ for maneuverability through gates and down roadways. With the trusted Great Plains metering system and 00 Series openers, plus options like a small seeds box and split-box capabilities, the BD7410 achieves large-drill performance in a mid-sized package.

Features May Include:

Great Plains Metering System

• This innovative system meters by shaft speed, adjusting for different application rates by changing the meter wheel rpm. Large seed, small seeds, and fertilizer can all be metered through the same seed cup. Each seed meter comes with meter wheels for small and regular seeds and are staggered for optimum distribution. A third seed wheel for large seed/fertilizer is optional.

00 Series Opener

• 00 Series openers feature a proven welded box design. 13.5", 4mm blades mounted on triple-lip sealed bearings are offset 1/4" for easier penetration in tough conditions. A rear depth-controlling gauge wheel uses a T-handle adjuster with 18 depth settings.

Adjustable Down Pressure

• A single hydraulic cylinder lifts the openers out of the way for transport and end-row turns. The same cylinder also applies down pressure to the 5-position adjustment stop. This setting allows the operator to quickly change the amount of down pressure on the openers.

Narrow Transport Design

• Once the transport locks are released, the drill folds and unfolds by operating a single hydraulic lever from the tractor cab. This narrow transport design folds the drill to under 10′ for field-to-field, down-the-road, and through-the-gate convenience.

Press Wheel Options

• Choose from 3"x13" double rib, 3"x13" center rib, 2"x13" smooth, or 1"x12" double V press wheels (availability depends on row spacing).

SMALL SEEDS BOX OPTION

• The small seeds box mounts to the back of the main seed box. It has a capacity of 6.3 bushel.

Split-Box Configuration (Optional)

• The split-box design accommodates two products at the same time. By moving the partition in the main seed box, ratios of seed-to-seed or seed-to-fertilizer can be changed between the front and rear of the box.
