27' & 30' 3-Point Min-Till

Ideal for bedded irrigation applications and large, flat fields, the larger Great Plains 3-point drills are an economical and accurate seeding solution with multiple options for a variety of operations. These min-till drills are available in working widths from 27’ to 30’ and feature 00 Series openers that is rugged enough to can handle most field conditions. These openers also feature T-handles for easy depth adjustments and full-length seed tubes to ensure seed reaches the bottom of the trench for superior accuracy. For operations with bedded irrigation, openers can be raised or lowered to maximize seeding accuracy.

Multiple press wheel combinations are available, including 3” x 13” double rib, 3” x 13” center rib, or 2” x 13” smooth press wheels. Fluted feed meters and a 4-speed transmission effectively meter nearly any seed in both fast and slow drilling conditions. Additionally, producers can add options such as dual gauge wheels for extra floatation, row markers that penetrate no-till residue, press wheel scrapers to improve depth control, or a small seeds box attachment to handle smaller seeds like alfalfa and clover.

Features May Include:

00 Series Opener

• 00 Series openers feature a proven welded box design. 13.5", 4mm blades mounted on 205 triple-lip sealed bearings have a 1/4" lead opener blade for easier penetration in tough conditions. An 18-position T-handle controls the depth of each opener. Full-length seed tubes guide seed to the bottom of the trench for exceptional accuracy, as optional seed firmers gently press the seed into the soil to ensure proper seed-to-soil contact.

4-Bar Ladder Frame

• Fully welded, 4-bar ladder-style frames give these 3-point drills added strength and durability.

Bedded Irrigation Setup

• With the bedded irrigation setup, openers are raised or lowered to match peaks and valleys of raised beds to maximize seeding accuracy.

Gauge Wheels

• The single gauge wheel configuration allows both gauge wheels to run at the bottom of bedded irrigation hills to improve depth gauging. Optional dual gauge wheels are also available.

Press Wheel Options

• Choices include 3"x13" double rib press wheels, 3"x13" center rib press wheels that create a crease over the seed to aid in even seed emergence, or 2"x13" smooth press wheels that firm the soil directly over the seed.

V-Bottom Dividers

• Dividers help distribute all the seed to the seed cups.

OPTIONAL SMALL SEEDS BOX ATTACHMENT

• Mounts directly to the back of the main seed box. Utilizes a smaller version of the fluted feed cup to accurately meter tiny seeds like alfalfa and wildflowers.

OPTIONAL PRESS WHEEL SCRAPERS

• Keeps the press wheels clean to improve depth control.
