GME Octagon Manhole Shields are 8 - sided, all - welded, and pre-assembled. They are ideal for contractors, municipal water and sewer departments, plumbers, and all types of utility contractors who are engaged in routine water main or gas line repairs and maintenance work.

The Octagon Manhole Shield features cutouts with bolt-on doors on four sides, allowing clearance and access to junctions and crossing lines.

All GME Octagon Manhole Shields are certified by a registered, professional engineer. The all-steel construction offers strength, and the single wall design keeps the weight low. These trench boxes are equipped with lifting rings for easy loading and unloading. Matching stacker units are available for added depth requirements.
