The palpation cage is also built into the working sides of the adjustable squeeze alleyways to eliminate calves turning around before the squeeze chute.

A horizontal sliding gate, as on the squeeze chutes, keeps animals off the users back when in the palpation cage of the adjustable squeeze alleyway.
