CatrosXL-2TX trailed compact disc harrow

Used for shallow to medium-depth soil tillage for cultivating stubbles, destroying catch crops or breaking up grassland as well as mechanical weed control, the Catros and Certos compact disc harrows shred and incorporate all kinds of organic matter. For optimum seedbed preparation, the soil is intensively crumbled, and,with rollers and harrows, levelled and finally reconsolidated. Now we’re all set for sowing!

A farmer's work is never done because the end of one harvest is the beginning of the next. Tasks include cultivating stubbles of crops such as cereals, sunflowers, oil seed rape or maize, mechanical weed control, the incorporation of catch crops or organic manures, as well as seedbed preparation. The Certos from AMAZONE is available for incorporating grain maize or other crops with a high organic matter content or for in extremely hard or heavy ground. It provides intensive cultivation of the soil down to medium depths with its large discs and a very high through-passage.

CatrosXL - 2TX with central running gear

With the CatrosXL-2TX, the segment of trailed compact disc harrows with bogey chassis is also available as an XL variant with a working depth of up to 16 cm. Due to the large 610 mm discs, and the larger distances not only between the rows of discs but also between the last row of discs and the roller, the XL variant of the Catros 03-2TX is characterised above all by its ability to handle a high level of organic matter. In addition, the machine demonstrates its capability on heavy soils.
