The Cayena gives precise seed placement in any soil type. With the tine coulters, a wide variety of crops can be reliably established, even in marginal locations, regardless of the type of cultivation. The tines operate reliably in extensive and intensive mulch sowing as well as on level ground when direct seeding. With the option of placing up to 2 different materials into the seed furrow, e.g. fertiliser and seed, you can work in a very water-efficient and economical manner.

Mastering the most arduous challenges in seeding with the Cayena from AMAZONE

Success in agriculture is particularly challenging when working in marginal locations. Every drop of water counts, and the soil also places the highest demands on the machinery. The crops must be established in a way that conserves as much water as possible, mostly on unploughed ground in hard soils without prior or only shallow seedbed preparation.

The Cayena's strong tine coulter provides the ideal solution: the “on-grip” tines independently pull themselves into the ground, opening up a the seed furrow with minimal soil disturbance whilst maintaining the set working depth. Thanks to the multi-chamber hopper, up to 2 different materials can be simultaneously metered and deposited precisely in the soil via the single-shoot process. The seed furrow is then reliably closed over by the Exact harrow and reconsolidated in strips by the wedge ring tyre roller with matrix tyre profile. One pass and the sowing is done. The soil moisture is optimally used and stones are no problem.

•  The TineTeC tine coulter stands for low-wear, easy-pull operation. The TineTeC HD tine coulter is reinforced with tungsten carbide plates – for even less wear and a longer service life.
• Large capacity hopper that has the option to carry up to 2 applied materials in a ratio of 60:40.
•  The metering system works reliably with good lateral and longitudinal distribution of the applied materials and is easily calibrated via the TwinTerminal 3.0.
• Exact harrow with overload safety device and wedge ring tyre roller with matrix tread profile for closing the seed furrow and reconsolidating the soil.
